The Snowbird Outlaw Nationals held at Florida’s Bradenton Motorsports Park is just about the last major drag racing event of the season. It’s a chance for northern drivers to get out of the cold and into some hot action on track.

Here is a look at some of the Chevrolet competitors.

This clean ’94 Beretta of Bill Lanzisera launches in Automatic Pro Mod. The Marco Island, Florida, driver qualified at number 8 with a 4.916/142.09, but lost in the first round.

David Hance’s twin-turbo Hemi-powered ‘57 Chevy broke after Saturday night and couldn’t make the call on Sunday. He was running in Automatic Pro Mod class. We’re looking forward to seeing this one again.

Ronnie Davis drove his old Corvette and a new Tommy Mauney-built one. Davis got the Automatic Pro Mod win over Jake Carlton in his old car. He qualified number 4 in the new Vette with a 6.466/219.40, but lost in the first round.

On Saturday night, Scott Quesenberry’s ’55 Chevy suffered a blower explosion that sent a fireball over the roof.
