Chevy Pro Stick Drag Racers

The race report for the Pro Stick racers at Beaver Springs Dragway was linked to Max Chevy from our sister publication Drag Racing Online. But you’re Chevy guys, so here are some more cars to drool over. Enjoy!

Brian Starr’s ’69 BBC heads for the sky. He’s from Cascaple, Maryland. That’s Mike Fisher’s ’67 Camaro in the far lane out of Breezewood, Pa.

“Snoopy” has that old school fuel-injection look. The 1957 Vette is owned by Frank Jenkins of Frostburg, PA., and has a 486 under the hood. He broke in the third round on Saturday and was out in the first round on Sunday.

Chuck Gassman of Millersville, Md., has arguably the cleanest Camaro in Pro Stick competition. He was eliminated in the first round on Saturday but made it to the third round on Sunday.

Craig Goods’ Chevy may not be the best looking car, but he launches hard and gets those front tires up in the first three gears with his 383 power. The Gwynn Oak, Md., driver also went out in round three on Sunday, after exiting on Saturday in the first round.
