Roger Gustin’s Super Chevy Show held their second event of the 2009 season at Florida’s Palm Beach International Raceway on March 6-8.

The Nitro Coupes headlined the drag racing, with defending champion Ken Walsh’s ’63 Corvette dominating the eighth-mile action. Walsh (lead photo) was No. 1 qualifier with a 4.077/184.98 and set Low E.T. at 4.029.

The 2007 champ, Randy Adler’s 2006 GTO was runner-up in the final with a 4.183 pass at 190.14 mph. The run set Top Speed for the Tinley Park, Ill., driver, but wasn’t quick enough to get to the finish line first. Walsh took only 4.102 seconds with a speed of 183.82.
